Boutargue from Sardinia

Sun and delicacy

The poutargue or boutargue is a gastronomic product, a culinary specialty originating from the entire Mediterranean basin. These are eggs (or rogue) of black mullet (fish also called muge from its Latin name: mugil cephalus), salted and dried. The amber coloured poutargue that we offer, is also nicknamed "the gold of Sardinia". Sun and delicate flavour will make your taste buds travel.
